He consults with those specialists to make sure you’re getting the best of care. Please don’t shy away due to cost. Your dental work is costly here but you’ll not have to return for shoddy work or post-op problems. Trust me. Twenty years later and my fillings, crowns and other work are still in top notch shape!
Duane H. Beers, DMD, FAGD, AAACD

Dr. Beers graduated from University of California, Davis (UCDavis) in 1971 with a B.S. in biochemistry. He attended Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine diploma with honors in March 1975.
He took a position with the U.S. Public Health Service, Indian Health Service in Zuni, NM. While there he pursued extensive postdoctoral training in oral surgery, orthodontics, and pedodontics. Since then, Dr. Beers has continued his education in the disciplines of cosmetic and laser dentistry.
Dr. Beers is a Fellow of Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) , an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AAACD). Dr. Beers is a charter member of the American Association of Functional Orthodontics and the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
Traci Woods, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Traci is a graduate of the University of New Mexico dental hygiene department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 1998.
She has been working with Dr. Beers since 2007 and is considered by many to be one of the top hygienists in the state. She travels from Truth or Consequences to Socorro Monday though Thursday to work with Dr. Beers because of the quality of care she can bring her patients. She will take great care of you whether you see her every 3 months or it has been years since your last visit to the dental office. She will give it to you straight with a smile and a laugh, you couldn’t be in better hands.
Traci is trained and licensed to give local anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas), digital radiographs and photos, sealants, periodontal treatment including scaling and root planning (deep cleanings). She will work with Dr. Beers to give you a comprehensive evaluation that includes a review of your medical condition and an oral cancer screening.
Amanda Shiplet, RDH

Amanda is a graduate of the University of New Mexico dental hygiene department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008.
Amanda believes in using her dental training to help others. She has worked with her church, Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley, and Global Health Outreach to do mission work in Peru, Siberia and Thailand as well as local programs. She married the love of her life, Christopher Shiplet, in October 2015 and currently lives in Belen.

Ivan Avramidi
I have known Dr Beers for more than 15 years. He has replaced four of my crowns and a bridge as well as fixed some fillings. All of this works and looks great taking at least 10 years off my age. Her greatest joy and pleasure, outside of her husband and children, is the devotion she has for her 7 grand-babies, so if she is not in the office you can be sure she is with them.
