Anterior Crowns Case #2

August 8, 2019 By Team Member

[metaslider id=”3471″]

Ken, a prominent businessman and aspiring politician. His chief concerns were short, dark front teeth and a 30 year old porcelain fused to metal crown on his upper right front tooth (#9).

The minimum treatment for ideal smile design on this case was to treat the upper front eight teeth (5-12) and the lower front eight teeth (21-28). This would involve seeing the periodontist for bony elongation of the upper and lower anterior teeth.

In the end, the patient chose to replace all of his old darkened crowns along with failing posterior amalgam fillings. The result gave this patient the winning smile he desired.
