Registered Dental Hygienist
Amanda is a graduate of the University of New Mexico dental hygiene department. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008.
Amanda believes in using her dental training to help others. She has worked with her church, Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley, and Global Health Outreach to do mission work in Peru, Siberia and Thailand as well as local programs. She married the love of her life, Christopher Shiplet, in October 2015 and currently lives in Belen.
Amanda is trained and licensed to give local anesthesia, digital radiographs and photos, sealants, periodontal treatment including scaling and root planning (deep cleanings). She will work with Dr. Beers to give you a comprehensive evaluation that includes a review of your medical condition and an oral cancer screening.
