Porcelain Bridges

A dental bridge replaces a missing tooth or teeth. After tooth removal it is important to fill the space so the rest of the teeth do not shift out of position. A bridge can help prevent this from happening. The two teeth on either side of the space (the abutment teeth) are prepared for crowns and joined together at the lab by a false tooth (the pontic) filling the space. A bridge is created specifically for you to match the shade and contours of your remaining teeth. It is then permanently cemented to restore your beautiful smile. With proper oral hygiene, your fixed bridge will be a beautiful restoration for many years to come. An alternative to a bridge is the dental implant. While an implant is the superior restoration, bridges are still an excellent choice to replace your missing teeth.
